Hailing from Sri Satyasai district, Murali Naik was the only son of his parents, Mudavath Sriram Naik and Jyothy Bai. Goes without saying, his parents are devastated by the loss.
Naik, 27, hailed from a poor agricultural family. He was posted along LoC as Pakistan violated ceasefire and indulged in heavy firing with artillery and mortar attacks. People from nearby villages reached Kallithanda to be with the parents.
