Trainees who failed in the Internal Assessment Programme have been removed. This is the fourth time that Infosys showed the door for trainees this year.
The trainees were given the news through email by the tech giant, according to media reports.
Infosys is providing training for trainees who have been removed. NIIT and Upgrad are providing these classes. Since February, Infosys has removed 800 trainees.
Of them, 250 have availed the service according to the company. Another 150 opted for the company's out replacement programme.

Infosys removed 300 trainees in February. In March, it removed 30-35 trainees. In April, it removed 240 trainees. Now, it's the fourth time this year.
Infosys is providing ex-gratia and relieving letters for the trainees. The present trainees were hired in 2022. They were onboarded in October 2024, according to Business Standard.
