And today, Deputy Chairman of AP Legislative Council, MLC Zakia Khanam, joined the BJP from the YSR Congress Party.

Zakia Khanam was supposed to join the TDP. Ministers - Nara Lokesh and Farooq held a series of talks with her, and her joining was more of a formality.

But she joined the BJP in the Presence of Party President Daggubati Purandeshwari today.

Zakia Khanam is from the Rayachoti constituency, where the BJP has no presence. Being a Minority leader, she is against the BJP and its Hindutva Politics, and this joining will have no use for her.

Hence, the TDP High Command had to send her to the BJP.

And then, the Blue Media is writing stories that it is a setback to TDP, as Khanam chose the BJP over the TDP.

It appears as if Chandrababu Naidu was also given the responsibility to develop the BJP in AP.

Being extremely busy, Chandrababu may find it difficult to give time for the TDP, but he can not afford to neglect the BJP.
