APCC president Sharmila accused her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the primary force behind the social media attacks against her and her family members.
Sharmila said that it is happy to see a few venomous snaked (YCP social media attackers) getting arrested but urged the government to take action against the Anacondas (top leaders) who authorize these attacks.

Speaking to the media today, she said that YCP leaders relentlessly troll her and spread fake posts about her, her mother Vijayalakshmi and her cousin Suneetha Reddy, under Jagan's supervision.
Sharmila said, "Despite being my own brother, Jagan Mohan Reddy encouraged YCP members to attack me, our mother , our cousin and our uncle on social media. If he had condemned the social media attacks on me, they would been stopped. But he didn't do that."
She said that many fake and illegitimate news were spread against her on the internet. "They even abused and insulted me. This is not right. This should stop," stated Sharmila.
"As a victim, I say that YCP has created a 'satanic army' to target rival party leaders on social media. Attacks on women are not only physical but also include these online assaults. There should be limits and regulations on social media," Sharmila appealed.
