Instead, it will be another visit to a jail.

Jagan is set to meet his jailed YCP MLA Busine Virupakshi, who is currently on remand at the Kurnool jail. The visit has been officially communicated by his party.

The YCP MLA was arrested earlier for allegedly attacking and physically assaulting several TDP workers locally. He was subsequently sent to jail for 14 days by the judicial magistrate and is currently serving his remand period.

Jagan is now scheduled to visit the Kurnool Jail to meet Virupakshi. He is expected to arrive there tomorrow as part of the planned visit.

This will be one of several jail visits Jagan has made across Andhra Pradesh. Many of his party leaders have already been arrested in different cases.

Earlier, Jagan had to make similar visits for several leaders, including Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Kakani Govardhan and Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy. Now, he is having to do the same for sitting MLA Virupakshi.

At a time when Jagan is allegedly missing even public events such as protests against DSC and farmers' issues, his decision to step out for jailed party leaders is drawing attention.

The public may start to feel that Jagan's priorities are in the wrong order. This perception could become stronger if the YSRCP chief continues to make more visits to jails across Andhra Pradesh.
