But then, Jagan chose to stay in the comfort of home by boycotting the Assembly sessions.

Jagan's argument is that since the YSR Congress is not the Principal Opposition, he would not be given a mike on par with the Chief Minister. What happens if the Mike is not given? The Government will be exposed to the people. It will mean they could not face Jagan or could not answer his questions.
Jagan successfully ruined that opportunity.
Traditionally, the Treasury Benches always want fewer days in the Assembly Sessions.
They try their level best to have less number of days and they even like to adjourn the house as many times as possible citing that the house is not in order. Meanwhile, the Opposition always tries to have more days.
Sensing that the Governments would try to evade the Assembly sessions, the architects of our constitution made sessions mandatory seasons-wise.
So, it is always like the Opposition wants the Assembly while the Government tries to escape from it. But like always Jagan is the reverse! No wonder he is mocked as 'Reverse Candidate Reddy'!
Jagan says he will run parallel Assembly by asking questions in media conferences when the house is happening.
One can not stop wondering who gave Jagan such a poor idea!
Assembly Sessions always have maximum media attention and public eyeballs. No Pressmeet can equal that.
Also, when Jagan speaks in the Assembly, even the media that is opposite him will give him space. That way he will reach everyone in the state.
Jagan has approached the court to get the Opposition Status and it is highly unlikely that the courts will agree to interfere in the Assembly. The Speaker is always immune to judicial interference.
Keeping aside Jagan, what crime did the other ten MLAs commit? Why are they denied an opportunity to bring the problems of their constituencies to the notice of the House?
Chandrababu did not stop his MLAs from going to the Assembly when he challenged and skipped the house. The MLAs went and did their part. But Jagan is someone very insecure and will not trust anyone. Everyone should stand behind him and no one is allowed to lead even in his absence.
If at all politics is paramount, all the ten MLAs can ask the Speaker to give their entire time for Jagan to speak. That way even in the worst case, Jagan can get 30 minutes to speak. If the Speaker does not allow it, the people will see and understand what is happening!
The fact is that Jagan Mohan Reddy is affixed to the comfort of the Chief Minister. He can not fight, he can not work hard and he can not take humiliation like how he did in the Opposition because he is still the Chief Minister in his head.
Jagan can not imagine doing things to the level of anything below the Chief Minister's.
But with this attitude, he will sink and will also make the others in the YSRCP Boat to sink.
