Andhra Pradesh politics is witnessing a visible shift toward more restrained and responsible conduct. Many observers credit this change to Chandrababu Naidu and IT and HR Minister Lokesh.
Chandrababu Naidu has spent nearly four decades in politics. While he sometimes speaks strongly about his own achievements, he has rarely used harsh language against opposition leaders. He is also known to ensure that his ministers, MLAs, and MPs stay within limits.
Leaders such as KCR, KTR, Harish Rao, and Jagan are often accused of speaking loosely about Chandrababu. However, he has largely chosen to ignore such remarks.
Lokesh appears to be following the same path as his father. He is consistently respectful toward colleagues, senior leaders, and even ordinary citizens. This approach remained unchanged even during the period when his party was out of power.
Many note the absence of arrogance in Lokesh's speeches, unlike the tone often associated with KTR and Jagan. At most, Lokesh resorts to sarcasm, such as his remarks about Team 11. He has also stated that he is not as soft as his father and has shown firmness when required.
Observers often draw a contrast between Lokesh and Jagan. Jagan is frequently accused of encouraging party workers who use aggressive language and slogans like rappa rappa during political campaigns.
Speaking at a meeting with students of JNTU Kakinada, Lokesh shared a personal experience. He said that when the Jagan government jailed Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan was the first to reach out to his family.
Lokesh said the gesture deeply moved him and left a lasting impression. He urged students to trust those who stand by them during difficult times.
Addressing the young audience, Nara Lokesh said many of them may not have faced major struggles yet. However, he reminded them that true support always comes from people who stay during tough phases.
Many believe these remarks reflect Lokesh's mindset and his approach to public life. His words have sparked discussion about the importance of dignity and manners in politics.
