Vijayasai Reddy has resigned from his Rajya Sabha MP position and announced retirement from Politics.
Sai Reddy leaving the party was the Biggest Blow almost on par with the eleven seats results on June 4th, 2024.

A loyalist, founding member, and Number Two Vijayasai Reddy leaving the party is a death blow. It sends an indication that there is no future for the party and the morale of the party leaders and cadres will be hit really hard.
Back then, there was a debate about why Sai Reddy made such a big decision when Jagan is not in the country. There were doubts if there were any differences between Jagan and Sai Reddy.

Speaking to the media, Sai Reddy went on to say he spoke to Jagan on the phone and the latter asked him to reconsider his decision.
But it looks like there is something wrong between them and that talking on the phone is not true.
Today Jagan arrived in the country and headed to Bengaluru.
Within hours, Sai Reddy sent Jagan his resignation to the party's primary membership.
The fact that Sai Reddy did not personally meet Jagan is an indication of the differences between them.
If Sai Reddy is away from Bengaluru, he should have waited for some more time. No one is really bothered about his resignation from the party now.
Sai Reddy has been close to the YSR Family for three generations. If things came to the extent of not facing each other, something really bad may have happened.
Keeping that aside, Sai Reddy may have thought not to take any risk and wished Jagan would come to power in 2029.
Sai Reddy once again reiterated his commitment to doing Agriculture for the remainder of his life.
