Now, according to Buzz, it is almost confirmed and Balakrishna has asked for a huge remuneration of ₹50 crore to act in Jailer 2, to which the Jailer 2 team has reportedly agreed. Balakrishna is expected to join the sets of Jailer 2 soon.
Furthermore, Balakrishna has allocated a 20-day schedule for the film's shooting and will appear in an extended cameo role.

Following this strong buzz, netizens on social media have commented that Balakrishna's appearance in Jailer 2 seems almost confirmed, as many Tamil media outlets are strongly reporting it.
They added that if it happens, it will be a treat for both Tamil and Telugu audiences to see Rajinikanth and Balakrishna sharing screen space.
