Whether you like action, romance, or comedy, there is something for everyone.
The first big release of June is Toxic A Fairy Tale for Grownups. This action thriller starring KGF star Yash is coming on June 4. It is set in Goa and tells a dark story about a powerful drug cartel. Fans are very excited to see Yash back on the big screen in such a gritty role. Earlier it was clashing with Dhurandhar The Revenge, but makers pushed the date later.
On June 12 there are two releases. First is Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by David Dhawan. It stars Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Mrunal Thakur and promises lots of humor and remixed 90s songs. The second is Steven Spielberg directorial Disclosure Day. This sci-fi film stars Emily Blunt and focuses on a mysterious alien occurrences.
On June 19, we have two more major titles. Pixar brings back the beloved toys in Toy Story 5. This movie is expected to be a massive hit with families and kids. At the same time, Bollywood is bringing Cocktail 2. This sequel stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna. It's a light hearted romance drama made for teen and adults, but nothing much is known about the story because the trailer is not out yet.
Pransanth Neel and Jr NTR's untitled project was also scheduled to hit theaters in June, but it seems that film will be delayed. As per industry sources, only 40% of shoot has been done so it is confirmed that the film is not coming in June.
Finally, the month ends with a bang on June 26 with Firoz Nadiadwala's Welcome To The Jungle. This much awaited film has a giant cast of over 30 actors, including Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. It is a big ensemble comedy that aims to provide full entertainment. However, some insiders believe that the film might be pushed further.
Even though there will be many titles to choose from, some experts think releasing so many movies in one month is a bad sign. They believe it leaves very little room for everyone to make a profit, which isn't good for the industry.
