Kollywood's most-awaited biggie, which is Suriya's Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on November 14th.

As still only two days were left for the release, the pre-bookings for this movie were started worldwide.

As per reports in Kerala, the pre-bookings of Kanguva have reached a new height by acquiring around 89 Lakhs in pre-bookings, with still two days left for the release.

Kanguva in Serious Troubles: Release Doubtful?

But in Tamil Nadu, Telugu states, and also in overseas markets, the bookings were very dull in many centers. In Tamil Nadu, as of now, only some theatres have started booking, while many centers were opening their pre-bookings of this movie by this evening.

As per trade experts as of now, Kanguva has done pre-sales bookings of 91 Lakhs in Tamilnadu, 81 Lakhs in Telugu states, and 31 Lakhs in Karnataka and this is comparatively less than expected.

Also as per trade sources, Kanguva needs to collect 400 crores worldwide to achieve the breakeven mark.

In this scenario Today, the Government of Tamil Nadu has granted permission to screen special shows for the Kanguva movie starting at 5 am on November 14th. After a long gap between Thunivu and Varisu, Kanguva has acquired special permission to screen the movie at 5 am.
