After the defeat in the 2023 Assembly Elections, the BRS has been in absolute shambles. The party drew a blank in the Parliament elections and lost deposit in some seats.
It has lost a big chunk of its Vote Bank when compared to the Assembly Elections. KCR disappeared mysteriously from the Political arena and is mostly confined to his Erravelli Farm House.

He did not come out even when Kavitha was jailed for several days. KTR led the party in the absence of KCR but his leadership has been Unimpactful.
Keeping it aside, yet another leadership crisis is looming large on BRS.

Along with ACB, the ED had also registered a case on KTR in Formula-E case. We may see the arrest very soon. With KTR in jail and KCR not in the mood to come out, a leadership crisis is likely for BRS.
At this juncture, it appears like Kavitha is also being ambitious to take the chair.

A few days ago, when Kavitha toured Nizamabad, her followers were shouting slogans 'Kavitha CM'. Similar slogans surfaced when she first came to Hyderabad after getting released from Tihar Jail.
The other day, KTR released the BRS 2025 Calendar. KTR's Followers gave similar slogans in the BRS Bhavan.
These slogans war ignited the debate of 'All is not well' between the siblings. Slogans by KTR's followers appear more like retaliation to Kavitha's ambitions.
We will have to see how KCR addresses the leadership issue if KTR gets jailed. One short-gap arrangement is to become active until KTR is out of this mess.
KCR never appeared to be interested in giving women opportunities. Kavitha was always sent to Parliament to ensure no state ambitions.
Meanwhile, KTR was summoned by the ED to appear before it for investigation on the 7th of this month. KTR is in consultation with the legal experts to attend this hearing or not.
