Kavitha has sent legal notices to T News, which is widely viewed as the mouthpiece of BRS. She alleged that the channel broadcast false and negative information about her.
She demanded a public apology within a week.
Legal notices were also issued to BJP MP Maheswar Rao and BRS MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao. The issue is gaining attention as it comes at a time when relations between the Kalvakuntla family and Kavitha are strained. Kavitha has been consistently targeting Harish Rao and Joginapally Santosh Kumar.
Kavitha added that her time will come and claimed she will become the CM one day. She warned that once she sits in the chair, she will review incidents from 2014. She said she will send legal notices to everyone who made accusations against her.
After the defeat of BRS in the 2023 elections, Kavitha took an anti BRS stand. This eventually led to her exit from the party. She has now made it her mission to highlight alleged corruption during the BRS rule.
BRS leaders are now pushing back as her allegations grow more frequent. They fear that the ruling Congress might target them if Kavitha keeps up her criticism. The political heat continues to build around the issue.
