Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari 2' has released in theaters on the 18th of April and has quite a good hype now. It made an opening of seven crores.
It was Good Friday, and with the exceptional reviews the movie could have done a lot more than that.
For the next two days there had been an impressive jump. On Saturday the movie made 10 crores and on Sunday it made 13 crores. It stands somewhere near 30 crores in total now.

But Kesari 2 had a good head start because of the Holidays and the weekend. And now it will have to struggle a bit more. It has to make at least 5 crores on Monday to continue with the pace.
The movie has good word of mouth but still it will need to run consistently for a lot many days to come out as a hit. If it manages to make more than hundred crores it will be tagged as a hit.

Below a hundred crores and it will have an average collection and it will be a flop if the collection is less than seventy five crores. There is some time for the movie now and if Kesari 2 continues with this speed and the word of mouth stays consistent, it has all the possibilities of emerging as a big hit.
