One of the most popular destinations in Hyderabad during the Vinayaka Chaturthi period is obviously Khairatabad. The massive Ganesh idol that is placed here during the Chaturthi period is historically famous for pulling massive crowds.
On that note, the latest developments are suggesting that the famous Khairatabad Ganesh has attracted more than 75,000 visitors on the opening day itself.
This number is almost on par with the average crowd at the holy Tirumala Temple and that speaks a lot about itself. The good thing is that the management authorities have made sure that adequate arrangements are in place to facilitate as many people who will be visiting the Ganesh moorthy every day.
The Khairatabad Ganesh will be open to public till 24 September and the Nimarjan will be happening on 25 September, which will be an event in itself.
As we had already reported, the Khairatabad Ganesh idol this year stands at 69 feet, making it one of the biggest in all of India. This is going to be one of the Hallmark attractions in Hyderabad city for the next few days with nearly 10 lakh people likely to take Darshan in this 11 day period.
Many people are already commenting that Ganesh is one of the OG Mass gods in the Indian religious community and that's on overwhelming display again now as he's pulling mass crowds in the heart of Hyderabad.
