Notably, the filming for King was expected to start this month and now it has been postponed to June. The reason is that director Siddharth Anand is working on the script to make it bigger and better compared to the last few films of SRK.

However, the makers are still aiming to bring it sometime in 2026 and Siddharth's company Marflix has collaborated with Red Chillies Entertainment to bring an amazing entertainer on the big screen that would appeal to all kinds of audiences.

On the other hand, the producers have kept the excitement alive among the audiences by not disclosing a lot of details about the film. King will also feature Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma playing important roles alongside SRK.

But the biggest question is why the filming has been delayed. The earlier interviews of SRK have already revealed that it will be an action film, which means that the making should not take a lot of time.

It will possibly not feature some high-octane action sequences like we have seen in Pathaan.

It is a general film being made to pull huge crowds to the big screen. It is not that they are making it on the level of James Cameron's Avatar and despite that, the makers have failed to maintain their commitment to starting the shooting on a particular date.

If this continues, the excitement might fade away at one point, leading to the failure of the film. Hopefully, there won't be any delays and the film will release in theatres by next year.
