Kodi Kathi case made a huge splash during Jagan's time. The accused in the case Srinu (Janupally Srinivasa Rao) and his family are now facing severe financial hardships.
Jagan hasn't gone to the court even once and Srinu has been going to the court for hearings. This has drained the family of their meager finances.

His lawyer Salim said that Srinu must be provided a job and given support. Meanwhile, Srinu and his family went to TDP office in Mangalagiri to meet CM Chandrababu and pour out his grievances.
As the CM was not available, Srinu gave his request to TDP politburo member Varla Ramaiah. After accepting the request, Varla Ramaiah said that during Jagan's anarchic rule, SCs were the most affected.

He further said that though Jagan claimed 'naa SClu', many SCs were killed during his time and were even sent to jails. He also crushed them financially, said Varla Ramaiah.
Srinu's family has been meted out injustice. If Jagan was pro SCs, would he have a dalit sentenced to five years in jail, questioned Varla. He promised that he will take the issue to Chandrababu's notice and see to it that justice be done. Republican Party of India head Varaprasad accompanied the family.
