TDP high command has expressed deep anger over the behavior of Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi Srinivas.
The high command has seriously considered Kolikapudi's ultimatum that he will resign from the party if action is not taken against former AMC chairman Ramesh Reddy within 48 hours.
Jagan Should Change At Least Seeing CBN!
The high command has ordered former minister and NTR district TDP president Nettem Raghuram, MP Kesineni Sivanath, and party regional coordinator Mantena Satyanarayana Raju to submit a report on the incidents that have taken place in Tiruvuru over the past 10 months, the field-level situation,n and Kolikapudi's behavior.
Meanwhile, Kolikapudi's 48-hour Timeline is also over.
Revanth - KCR & I Are As Different As 'Nandi' & 'Pandi'
It is reported that the party has already taken a report through various channels on the affairs taking place in Tiruvuru, the opinions of the party ranks, the allegations against Kolikapudi, and his frequent involvement in controversies.
Further action will be taken after the report of this three-member committee.
Rape of German Woman by Cab Driver in Hyderabad
Kolikapudi's behavior has become controversial on several occasions in the past. He has already appeared before the disciplinary committee at the party's central office in Mangalagiri twice and given explanations.
He has said that he will ensure that such incidents do not repeat in the future and will coordinate with all in the party. However, party leaders are complaining about the lack of change in his behavior.
Kolikapudi is an SC leader who fought in the Amaravati agitation during Jagan's regime. He used to be a mouthpiece of the Agitation in the TV debates during those turbulent times.
Among the many commoners who were given a chance in 2024, Kolikapudi is also one, and he won comfortably in the TDP wave.
But things changed very quickly.
Straightforwardness will work in the TV debates. In Politics, leadership is all about taking all the people into confidence.
Kolikapudi is lacking exactly that. He is a non-local to Tiruvuru, but the TDP leadership has given him an opportunity.
He should display some patience and address the issues without going to the media or without tarnishing the image of the party.
Almost every single leader in the party in the constituency is against Kolikapudi. Some party leaders are even complaining that he is joining hands with the YSR Congress leaders and doing Sand Business.
These allegations may be false. But the fact remains that the entire party machinery is opposing him.
Today, Tiruvuru TDP cadres gathered in large numbers at the party office in Mangalagiri, raising slogans against Kolikapudi Srinivas. They shouted slogans - "Down, down Kolikapudi.. Tiruvuru does not want Kolikapudi".
That is the biggest failure of a leader in politics.
If elections are to be held today in Tiruvuru, the victory is not guaranteed. That itself is an indication of how things have gone bad in just 8-9 months.
If Kolikapudi continues the same behavior, Political Parties will think twice before giving opportunities to those outside the Political Spectrum. Further, Kolikapudi is highly educated. If he does not understand this, the blame is on him.
