Director Koratala Siva made his entry into the pan Indian space with Devara. The film fared reasonably well at the box office, despite several shortcomings in terms of story and overall narrative.

Now there is an ongoing talk that the second part of Devara is as good as a gone case, as no one is interested in this prospect anymore.

Rather than waiting years together to convince a star Hero to work with him, the option of working with Vijay looks far more feasible and viable. This is one of the good options that Koratala has left with him.

A lot will depend on the kind of reception that Vijay's upcoming film will get at the box office. If this film is a box of peace winner, he could gain the interest of leading directors.
