It is said that Madanmohan Reddy took over more than 100 acres of land in YSR Kadapa district's Tonduru mandal's Mallela village, set aside for cattle grazing, by putting up a fence around it.
Reddy put borewells in a lake 2 kilometers away and laid pipelines. He used the land to grow fruits and built buildings on the land.
Of the encroached land, 14.10 acres were registered on Madanmohan Reddy's name and 9.90 acres on his wife Madhavilata's name.

When he questioned the revenue officials, they said they sent a report to the Collector. But they are not taking any action, said ex MLC, Pulivendula TDP incharge Btech Ravi in a complaint to the district Collector.
