Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 is all geared up for its theatrical debut on the 5th of December and the stakes are high on this one. Considering the mass penetration of the first part, the chances are that the second part would get off to a shattering start in many key pockets.
Big Scale Films? Leave That To Tollywood?
Coming to the topic now, Pushpa 2 could well be one of Tollywood's last shots at the Rs 1000 crore grosser mark as there aren't too many films that have such impetus in the near future.
With a reasonably good talk, Pushpa 2 should realistically be able to touch the Rs 1000 crore mark which is the expected result for the film.

And once Pushpa 2 is done with the Rs 1000 crore mark, Tollywood can wave goodbye to this mark for the foreseeable future.
Only Prabhas's Kalki 2 and Rajamouli-Mahesh's film have a realistic shot at the 1000 crore mark in the future. These films will take their own sweet time to arrive at the box office, meaning Tollywood will be away from this mark for the next 2-3 years.
