Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh will tour Australia from October 19 to 24. During the six-day visit, he will study the teaching methods of leading Australian universities and explore collaborations for the state's education sector.

Lokesh will also lead roadshows in Sydney and Melbourne to invite global investors to the upcoming CII Investors' Summit, scheduled for November 14-15. He plans to meet several Indian-origin entrepreneurs during the trip.

Both Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh have been inviting national and international industry leaders to the summit. The event will feature key policymakers, industry heads, and education experts.

Lokesh has already travelled to multiple countries seeking investments for Andhra Pradesh, and many of those efforts have paid off. His Australia tour aims to attract more investors and explore aqua export opportunities following recent US tariff changes.

This visit is part of the Australian government's Special Visits Programme, extended through the Australian High Commissioner in Delhi. Lokesh expressed optimism, saying that even if a few new industries invest in Andhra Pradesh, it would be a "Deepavali gift" for the people.
