Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that, immediately after Coolie, he is going to start the most anticipated sequel to Kaithi, which is Kaithi 2. He also has commitments with Kamal Haasan for Vikram 2 and a standalone film with Suriya, Rolex, and both these movies will commence soon.
However, following Kaithi 2, he is set to begin shooting his next film with Aamir Khan, the biggest superhero action film that he wrote a long time ago.
