Director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared exciting updates about Rajinikanth's Coolie and the much-awaited Kaithi 2.
Coolie which marks the first collaboration between Lokesh and the superstar is expected to release in theaters during the summer of 2025.

In a recent interview, Lokesh mentioned that after Coolie, his next project will be Kaithi 2 which will start shooting in August 2025.
He is also planning to conclude the Lokesh Cinematic Universe with three films. This includes Suriya's Rolex and a final installment titled Vikram 2.

He expressed regret that he couldn't take up Leo 2 due to Thalapathy Vijay's entry into politics.
Lokesh also revealed a possible collaboration with Aamir Khan but he said he was not sure how things would pan out.

He also remained secretive about Aamir's cameo in Coolie.
