Miss You released on 13 December, 2024, with over ₹10 crores as a budget but went on to fetch only ₹4.15 crore. Siddharth's ridicule during Pushpa 2 promotional events by commenting that the audience was watching some JCB digging event further contributed to the bad situation. His public image had already started taking a downturn.

The habitual quality of mouth-speaking controversial statements hasn't alienated his fans, but also, peer followers are alienated too. His saying about Allu Arjun's event of Pushpa 2, during the latter's film that is never heard of is arrogant and, with bad films, really brings out how off-beat Siddharth has become with regards to the audience.
With Miss You hitting the Amazon Prime Video on 26 January, 2024, OTT might be a second chance for it. Though the loyal fan base will still support it, the mass audience is skeptical, as the movie failed at the box office and Siddharth has a notorious reputation.
OTT Verdict of the Week: Disappointing, Unexciting
He will have to think again for his public image as well as film choices. He cannot sit in wait for the OTT success to sort his career out. He needs to choose better scripts and shun unnecessary controversies for winning the confidence of the audience and the trade again.
