To mark the 72nd birthday of KCR, celebrations were held at Telangana Bhavan. A 72-kilo cake was cut, a documentary based on KCR's role in Telangana movement and his political journey was released.

KTR then spoke to the cadre. Interestingly, KTR chose the occasion to declare their stand on the jaati pitha jibe by CM Revanth Reddy.

The BRS working president said that KCR never called himself jaati pitha. As he was among those who fought for Telangana and given his role, people address him as jaati pitha, he said. KTR said how will people who put guns to activists of Telangana understand the meaning of "jaati". He said that people who never raised Jai Telangana slogans, are rented politicians and who don't care about Telangana will never understand the meaning of jaati.

KTR said that their jaati was that of fighters who got Telangana and the student martyrs of the movement. When we were bullied and coerced, we fought back under the guidance of KCR. We belong to that jaati, KTR said.

Telangana only has Telangana supporters and Telangana betrayers. My father is a hero to Telangana people. Some people are saying that they will wipe out the identity of KCR. Telangana is the identity of KCR, how will they wipe it off, questioned KTR.

We will work unitedly and ensure that KCR becomes the CM again. That will be a small gift for his birthday, said KTR who indirectly hit out at CM Revanth Reddy.
