26 year old Suchir Balaji was recently found dead in his San Francisco apartment after a series of concerning posts about the uses and abuses of Artificial Intelligence.

It was confirmed as a suicide by the police.

Sudhir Balaji was an Indian origin researcher on AI and also an OpenAI whistle-blower who used his research to raise his voice against the abuses of AI multiple times. He did his bachelor's in computer science from University of California and was a National Olympiad champion of the US in 2016.
