The newly elected MLC Nagababu who happens to be Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan's brother has started work. He was in Gollaprolu mandal's MRO office where he started a PHC and Anna canteen.
But what transpired there was rather intriguing. The TDP and Jana Sena workers raised slogans competing with each other.

The TDP workers raised Jai Varma slogans while Jana Sena workers raised Jai Jana Sena slogans.
This has raised eyebrows in political circles. SVSN Varma gave up contesting from Pithapuram for Pawan Kalyan and was promised a post later. He was expectant during the MLC polls, but Naga Babu was given the seat as per alliance understanding.

This has left Varma and his supporters disillusioned. To add salt to injury, Naga Babu had said during Jana Sena plenary that if anyone thought they were behind Pawan Kalyan's victory, it was foolish.
While Varma hasn't shown his discontent publicly, he is working towards keeping his base intact in Pithapuram.
