Naga Vamsi's recent remarks about Bollywood during a roundtable interview on YouTube sparked a significant backlash from the Bollywood audience.

The comment that particularly upset Bollywood fans was Vamsi's claim that the entire Bollywood industry "lost sleep" when Pushpa 2 earned ₹86 crores net on its first Sunday. Many found this remark derogatory and distasteful.

Today he has given an explanation and apology for his comment and said that he never meant disrespect to the Hindi filmmakers.
