Nani HIT 3 & Marvel's Thunderbolts: Same Treatment

Thunderbolts, the Marvel film directed by Jake Schreier is all set to be released on 1 May in India. To get a U/A 13+ certificate the film had to go through cuts which rendered the film's runtime 127 minutes.

Puri's Vijay vs Vijay: Comeback or Just Noise?

CBFC gave the film its certificate on 23 April once they complied with the cut of 5 abusive words. This included words "a**," "a**hole," "d**ks," "b***h," and "prick," which were unacceptable by the board.

Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni starrer Telugu thriller HIT 3 is also set to release this May 1st on a pan-Indian scale. This film also got a similar treatment as Thunderbolts and even harsher.

Sailesh Kolanu: Why a Resounding Hit is a Must?

Words like "f**k and ch***a" were limited and muted at many places. Despite heavy censoring and both audio and visual cuts the film has received A certificate.

Fans feel that Marvel's appeal amongst children and youth might be the reason for its U/A 13+ certification while Nani's HIT 3 is clearly for a mature audience. It will be interesting to see despite similar treatment by the CBFC which film will rule over Indian masses coming weekend.
