TDP general secretary and IT Minister Nara Lokesh expressed his dissatisfaction over the performance and conduct of some first-time MLAs in the party.

Lokesh felt that a few newly elected legislators had not yet grasped the party's principles, administrative discipline, and governance style due to their lack of prior political experience.

During a meeting held at the Undavalli office, Lokesh interacted with several ministers and MLAs. He instructed senior ministers and experienced leaders to take the responsibility of mentoring the newcomers. Lokesh urged them to share their own journeys, explaining the challenges they faced when they first entered politics and how they overcame them to reach their current positions.

Addressing the group, Lokesh clearly stated that the first-time MLAs must identify and correct their shortcomings if they wish to achieve future electoral success. He emphasized that discipline, dedication, and public service should remain at the heart of their political careers.

Lokesh also spoke about the upcoming Global Investment Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15, highlighting its significance for Andhra Pradesh's economic growth. He said that the state expects investments worth Rs 10 lakh crore, which will generate lakhs of jobs both directly and indirectly. He asked every minister to take ownership of the projects under their departments and ensure smooth implementation.

Furthermore, Lokesh directed ministers to attend the MSME Parks programme scheduled for November 12, adding that each in-charge minister must personally oversee the grounding of industries in their respective districts. He reiterated his government's goal of creating 20 lakh jobs and said this target could only be achieved through teamwork and accountability.

Lokesh's message was clear. The young leader wanted every MLA to rise to the expectations of the people and the party. His focus was on performance, responsibility, and ensuring that the government's promises translate into tangible results for citizens.
