In what comes as a shock to IPS PSR Anjaneyulu, another case has been filed against him. Already the police have arrested him in the case regarding harassment of actress Kadambari Jatwani, and are investigating the case.
The case dates back to the time when PSR was the intelligence chief in YSRCP government. On January 31, 2024, Anjaneyulu called the then Vijayawada commissioner Kantirana Tata and Deputy commissioner Vishal Gunni to CM's office and ordered them to arrest Kadambari Jatwani, though no FIR was filed.
On Feb 2, a FIR was filed. Within hours, Kadambari Jatwani and her parents were arrested and brought from Mumbai to Vijayawada. They were in judicial remand for 42 days.
Later, Kadambari came out on bail. She approached the alliance government and they promised to take action against the wrong-doers. The case was handed over to CID.

Hence, PSR Anjaneyulu is in judicial remand right now. And now, a new case has been filed against him. The case is regarding the irregularities and misappropriation of finances in the evaluation process of the APPSC Group I main examination answer sheets in 2018
At the time, Anjaneyulu was with APPSC. Right now he is in remand for Jatwani case. The police have approached the Court to take him into remand in the new case.
