A new chapter in the technological journey of Amaravati has officially begun. A fresh era started with the inauguration of Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV), marking a major milestone for Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated AQV, positioning it as a key driver of future technology. The initiative aims to transform Amaravati into a global destination for advanced research and innovation.

During the event, the Chief Minister also launched a quantum-safe application developed by QClairvoyance Quantum Labs. The app is designed to protect data from emerging threats posed by quantum computing.

The AQV project involves major collaborations with leading technology firms. L&T is handling the AQV building construction, while IBM and TCS are partnering on Quantum cloud services and the innovation centre.

However, April will see the launch of two quantum computers on April 14, which is world quantum day. They are special as they are open quantum systems, reference systems where one can test each and every component. They are completely 'Make In India' computers and each component was made in India, thanks to the push given by Chandrababu.

The core objective of Chandrababu Naidu is to establish AQV as a global quantum hub. The plan includes developing world-class research centres, global technology hubs, and a strong start-up ecosystem.

Skill development for lakhs of youth and large-scale employment generation are also central goals. According to the plan, the AQV building will be ready by August, and the quantum computer is expected to arrive by December, 2026.

With AQV, Amaravati is now being compared to established quantum hubs like Boston, Singapore, and Shanghai. The ambition is to place Amaravati among the world's leading quantum research destinations.

Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his vision of making Amaravati the go-to destination for quantum computing and advanced R and D. AQV is seen as a defining step in shaping the state's technology-driven future.
