Then, we have NTR-Neel with Prashanth Neel, a Kannada filmmaker. This project has been in the discussion for a really long time now and it has finally seen daylight now.
Lastly, there is a new project in discussion and it has something to do with NTR and Nelson which is yet to be publicized. If this project really does happen, it would mean that Tarak is working with a Tamil filmmaker.

If we observe the trends, Tarak worked with a Telugu director, working with Hindi and Kannada directors, and is likely to work with a Tamil director in due course. Of all the options barring Koratala, Neel is the only seemingly sureshot director and more of a household name for the Telugu folk.
As it appears, Tarak is looking to diversify his portfolio by working with other language directors and thus touching other language audiences. But with this comes the risk of moving from the sensibilities of Telugu folk, which he appears to be ready to take.
