No political term was able to generate as much traction in recent times as MAVIGUN after Jagan proposed the area covering Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur as the capital of AP.

This was Jagan's defence mechanism after the badly misfired, three capitals proposal that he proposed in 2019. It is evident that Jagan is doing everything in his power to move the focus away from Amaravati and pick nearly half a dozen capitals(Kurnool, Vizag, Machilipatnam, Guntur and Vijayawada) if need be.

And as it appears, Jagan is repeating the same old mistake from 2019, as he is evidently in a monotonous zone with the same.

As revealed by several YCP leaders including Vasantha Krishna Prasad and brother Jagan did not take any second opinion on the three capitals and only communicated his version to his party representatives back in 2019. This was more of a unilateral decision rather than a collective choice.

And now the same mistake appears to be repeating in the case of MAVIGUN. Jagan again made this significant announcement in front of the media, presumably with very little coordination with YCP leaders.

And what followed is a layer of coverup activities from the likes of Ambati Rambabu, Mahesh Kasu, and Rachamallu Sivapradad Reddy. Ironically, Siva Prasad Reddy said today that TDP and its accelerated Media is unable to digest the goodwill for MAVIGUN and they're trying to defame the same.

Ideally, had there been adequate ground preparation from Jagan with regard to MAVIGUN, there would've been an adequate soft launch for this prospect. But that was not the case as Jagan took an afternoon media session to announce the same and hence, the entire YCP batch is having to get on ground and defend it with all they've got.
