Rajkumar Hirani is without any doubt one of the biggest filmmakers in India and has given blockbuster movies like 'PK' and '3 Idiots'.

And now he is about to try his hand on OTT.

His last venture 'Dunki' was supposed to make it to the 500 crore club because it had the much anticipated collaboration of Shah Rukh and Hirani. But the movie could not do much and its performance was average.

Netizens think that his turn towards OTT is actually a demotion and it might be because of the Dunki setback. Audiences are used to having the Rajkumar Hirani experience in theaters only and how they will react to a web series from him now is not certain.

But if Rajkumar Hirani manages to pull this off, he will regain his status as a highly trusted storyteller and revive from the Dunki block.

Rajkumar Hirani will be writing and creating the show but will not be directing it. The various episodes will be directed by Amit Satyaveer Singh and Avinash Arun.

Theatrical Flops Find Surprise Success On OTT

The show has tentatively been titled as Pritam Pedro. Arshad Warsi plays the protagonist in the series and Vikrant Massey plays the villain.
