Out of a list of 29 films, Laapata Ladies was selected for the official entry for the Oscars from India. However, there were some odd choices in this bunch that have raised some eyebrows.

The most shocking name on this list was Chhota Bheem And The Curse of Damyaan. The live-action film based on the kid's cartoon only managed to impress its target audience with its poor VFX and average plot.

It failed to grab people's attention, leaving everyone puzzled by the entry. However, It was not the only one that raised questions over the legitimacy of this list.

Other films like Animal and Kalki 2898AD were also trolled for their submissions and put under the same umbrella. While they were the biggest blockbusters of the year the films were never the critics' favourite.
