The Malayalam movie Sookshmadarshini, starring Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph, was released in theatres on 22nd November and received positive responses from the audiences.
After the successful theatrical run, Sookshmadarshini was released on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform on January 11th. After watching the movie, the majority of the people were appreciating it.

However, some Tamil audiences were sharing mixed responses on social media and mentioned that Sookshmadarshini's last 30 minutes were enjoyable, but as a whole, the movie is just an average one, but people were overhyping it.
On the other hand, some Tamil audiences went one step further and shared that Malayalam movies were just average ones; most of the Malayalam movies were not up to the mark, the way they have been celebrated.
