The latest in the list is Khel Khel Mein, which was completely ignored due to the popularity and positive response towards Stree. Both the films were released on Independence Day along with John Abraham's Vedaa.

The comedy-drama came out on Netflix on October 10, 2024, and has accumulated a viewership figure of 7.6 million so far. The numbers have also left the trade analysts and exhibitors in shock.

It started with 3.4 million in the first week. But it did not show a major jump in the second, recording only 4 million views.

Despite all these, Khel Khel Mein managed to grab the fourth spot among the top 10 global list. Meanwhile, it has now dropped to the seventh.

The numbers are still considered disappointing if compared to Akshay's previous OTT release, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The action drama received 9.6 million views in three weeks until losing its position in the top 10.

Netflix is planning to release more films in the upcoming days and time will decide whether Khel Khel Mein can maintain its spot. A major competition would be Kajol and Kriti Sanon's Do Patti, which is arriving on Friday.
