This year Netflix has acquired Vijay's The Greatest Of All Time, Vijay Sethupathi's Maharaja, Karthi's Meiyazhagan, Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran, and Kamal Haasan's Indian-2.

Among these five, Maharaja was a blockbuster success in OTT and has brought more watch hours to the OTT platform than expected, and Amaran is yet to be released.

Whereas for the next year, Netflix now itself has bagged 4 biggies of Kollywood, such as Suriya's anticipated Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR's Thug Life, Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon, and Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly.

This year Netflix almost bagged most of the biggest movies of Tollywood, which includes Prabhas's Kalki 2898 AD and NTR's Devara. But next year Netflix is bagging more big Kollywood movies than big-budget Tollywood movies.
