The entire episode felt like an attempt to PR the movie and establish the fact that it is a funny movie and people should go and enjoy something funny in the theaters.
As well as the forced attempt to prove that the Kapil Sharma show is a funny show, in this digital era if comedy shows don't evolve themselves then the day is not far that people will quickly switch to a standup show instead of watching an hour long forced laughter show.
Thanks for bringing the anecdotes by Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, and Kubbra Sait, in the first 10 minutes of the show, but the rest felt like a torture to many audience who looks forward to watch The Kapil Sharma Show.

Honestly speaking, Ajay Devgn is not known for his best comic timing, but the larger issue is the show's tiring format and same old writing.
