However, the visit began with unexpected tension when two local TDP cadres clashed at the airport. TDP Rajanagar in-charge Boddu Venkataramana and his group were stopped from entering the airport premises. This led to an argument as Boddu questioned how CM programme committee coordinator Pendurthi Venkatesh was allowed inside.

Both Pendurthi Venkatesh and Boddu Venkataramana Choudhary had come to meet Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The police permitted the Pendurthi group to enter the terminal but denied entry to the Boddu group. This triggered a heated exchange, with Boddu demanding to know if Pendurthi had protocol clearance.

Soon after, the Pendurthi group stepped out, and both groups exchanged harsh words. The argument escalated further, with members from both sides nearly assaulting each other.

The police intervened promptly and prevented the situation from escalating any further.
