The boating trial has been successfully held in Nizampet Canal. Canal tours are quite popular in Paris and the AP government is trying to bring in a slice of charm to Andhra Paris, Tenali.
Three canals pass by Tenali and the beautification of canals is currently underway. Boating points and stalls are also being planned.
The design of Skywalk bridge has also been revived. The focus will be on spiritual and tourism development.

The government is also in plans to develop a Tenali bund or tank bund like the one in Hyderabad and go for greenery enhancement. Green cover will be increased along the four canals, fencing will be put up and walking tracks will be laid.
Another plan is to install statues of famous Andhra personalities along the promenades.
