Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh on October 16. He will tour Kurnool and Nandyal before offering prayers at the Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam.
A road show with alliance leaders is also planned in Kurnool.
Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan will hold a large rally. They will focus on the recent GST reduction and highlight its benefits. The Prime Minister will also launch and inaugurate new development projects.
IT Minister Lokesh informed Ministers and MLCs in the Legislative Council lobby about the visit. The state government has finalised the programme and is tightening security in Kurnool, Nandyal, and Srisailam for the event.
Modi wants people to understand the decision on GST reduction. The move addresses the dissatisfaction many expressed about GST slabs. Through this rally, he aims to assure the middle and lower middle class that the government supports them.
