Popular Astrologer Venu Swamy landed in legal trouble as the 17th Metropolitan Magistrate court ordered the Jubilee Hills police to file a case against him.
Noted television presenter, TV5 Murthy filed a petition against Venu Swamy alleging that he is cheating the public in the name of astrology. He further stated that Venu Swamy is misleading people by altering his image with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his petition, TV5 Murthy also alleged that Venu Swamy was trying to harm him. After hearing the petition, the magistrate agreed with the claims made by Murthy. It further asked the police to file a case against Venu Swamy and proceed with the investigation.
As of now, Venu Swamy is yet to react to this decision. He landed in trouble after predicting that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala would get separated in a few years.

People lashed out at Venu Swamy for making such predictions against the couple who just got engaged. A complaint was also filed against him.
Since then, Murthy has been covering Venu Swamy's stories in his show, further leading to an intense clash between them. Eventually, Murthy filed a petition against Venu Swamy in the court.
