Former Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh passed away earlier this week. He has been the Prime Minister for two terms and the nation is observing one week of mourning in his memory.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu rushed to Delhi and paid homage to the mortal remains of the Great Economist. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy was also there obviously because Man Mohan Singh was a Congressman till his last breath.

Man Mohan Singh and PV Narasimha Rao initiated Economic Reforms in 1992. Chandrababu Naidu, first, became the Chief Minister in 1995. Naidu has shad everal rounds of consultations with MMS and implemented the reforms in AP.

Those economic reforms helped Hyderabad become a popular IT destination and helped the state's economy to flourish.

Naidu paid homage as a token of gratitude. It is to be noted that MMS was a Congressman and he and CBN were never on the same side.

At the same time, it is interesting to note that Jagan Mohan Reddy and KCR skipped going to Delhi.

KCR worked as the Central Minister in MMS Cabinet and his statement in the Parliament helped the passage of the Telangana Bill.

KCR should have gone to Delhi and paid his last respects but did not go. He even skipped the Special Assembly Session convened to pay homage to the Former Chief Minister.

On the other hand, Jagan became MP for the first time when Man Mohan Singh was the Prime Minister. YSR was a Congressman all his life and had high regard for Man Mohan Singh. YSR was the Chief Minister when MMS was the Prime Minister.

It would be respectful if Jagan had gone to Delhi. Moreover, beyond politics, Man Mohan Singh was a revered economist who steered the nation in the direction of Progress during a crisis.

Naidu displayed statesmanship by going to Delhi and paying his final respects. But KCR and Jagan failed miserably.
