Tamil actor Jiiva narrowly escaped a serious accident while traveling with his wife, Supriya, from Chennai to Salem. The incident occurred near Kaniyamoor in Tamil Nadu's Kallakurichi district.

Reports suggest that as Jiiva's car was moving along the road, a two-wheeler suddenly appeared in its path. In an attempt to avoid the bike, Jiiva's car collided with roadside barricades.

Fortunately, both Jiiva and Supriya sustained only minor injuries, though the car suffered significant damage.

Upon learning about the accident, fans expressed their concern for Jiiva's safety. Local police from the Chinna Salem station quickly arrived at the scene, managing the traffic disruption caused by the accident. They seized the damaged car as part of their investigation.
