Prime Video is coming with a Hindi adaptation of the English reality show 'The Traitors' and to promote it, the social media team used a photo from 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' and captioned 'Rahul is a traitor.'
People somehow took it as a political analogy and thought the Rahul in question was not Shah Rukh Khan whose photo was shared but it was probably Rahul Gandhi.
When many comments regarding this started coming, Prime decided to delete the post. There have already been many posts of people criticising Rahul Gandhi on the same lines as Prime's post. Some people are enraged with why they deleted it. And the screenshots are circulating on X as well.

It is not happening for the first time that Prime Video India's engagement post on social media has been misconstrued in a completely unintended way and the platform has faced flak because of that. The platform needs to be more careful with the posts it is making.
