One such reference involves Indian Cricketer Krunal Pandya rocketing the internet with numerous memes. In the film, an actor appeared in the film who resembled the Indian cricketer in one of the scenes.

Fans generate quick memes and trolls of Krunal being in the film. The real actor, however, was Tarak Ponnappa, who is a renowned actor in the South Indian film industry.
Tarak is no stranger to huge films as he has been a part of KGF and Devara in the past. His still from the trailer went viral as it resembled Krunal Pandya and now that the film is out, meme pages took aim and fired several shots regarding the same.

Tarak plays the role of Buggi Reddy in the film, who is the nephew of Central Minister Kogatam Veera Pratap Reddy. Buggi further becomes the main villain in the film and is ultimately involved in the climax against Pushpa.
