The elusive and the alleged master planner in AP liquor scam Raj Kasireddy has been arrested by SIT finally. SIT had given four notices to Raj, though he responded to none.
On April 19, Raj released an audio file to media. This was sent to the US and from there, it was released in India. He tried to divert the attention of SIT by releasing another audio file saying he will attend inquiry on April 22.

Meanwhile, SIT got to know of his plan to escape abroad. Raj who flew into Hyderabad from Goa under a false name Rajesh Reddy and false papers was arrested by SIT through perfect planning.
While Raj Kasireddy claimed he flew down to attend SIT interrogation, SIT had reliable information that Raj was planning to fly to Chennai and take off to a foreign country.
SIT foiled his plan by arresting him at Shamshabad Airport on Monday evening. As Raj was playing hide and seek, a lot of people associated with the scam were interrogated and raids were conducted on their houses.
Vital information was gathered from the inquiry. The SIT also called Raj's father for inquiry twice. As no route was left open, Raj tried to convince that he was coming for SIT inquiry.
